A locality (sítio) in the parish of Porto da Cruz, part of the Folhadal settlement, named after the old Leal family. It contains the chapel of São João Nepomuceno, founded in 1770.
A locality (sítio) in the parish (freguesia) of Porto da Cruz (‘harbour of the cross’), incorporated into the inhabited locality of Folhadal (‘folhado grove’). Here stands the chapel of São João Nepomuceno (St John of Nepomuk), founded by João Nepomuceno de Freitas Leal in 1770. Near the chapel is a fine dwelling house belonging to the old Leal family, from which the locality took its name.
