Main article Nossa Senhora da Estrela (chapel) A chapel of Our Lady of the Star, planned by the discoverer Zarco and built by his son-in-law Diogo Cabral as the head of his entailed estate and later the first seat of the local parish; it is now vanished. The entry also notes a separate, unlocated chapel of the same name in the Calhau parish of Funchal in 1632.

The Capela de Nossa Senhora da Estrela was a now-vanished chapel at Calheta, Madeira, planned by the discoverer Zarco and built by his son-in-law Diogo Cabral. Cabral was buried there, and it was the seat of his entail. It later became the first seat of the parish of Calheta.
