Funchal street, formerly Rua Nova de Santa Maria, linking Largo dos Lavradores with Largo das Torneiras, renamed in 1911.
The former Rua Nova de Santa Maria (‘new street of St Mary’), which links the Praça or Largo dos Lavradores with the Largo das Torneiras.
It was given the name of Latino Coelho at a session of the Funchal Municipal Council (Câmara Municipal do Funchal) on 7 September 1911, but it is generally known by its old name.
