John Edward Gray publia : Notice of a Second Species of Paragorgia discovered in Madeira by James Yate Johnson (Annals and Magasine of Natural History, 1862). P. Martin Duncan écrivit : On some recent Corals from Madeira (Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London, 1882).
