Trigo de Rieti

A wheat variety similar to trigo barbela but with flatter, usually white ears and more spreading awns; the entry also describes trigo canoco burbudo.

Similar to the preceding, from which it differs in its flatter ears, almost always white, and its more spreading awns. Trigo canoco burbudo. Bearded, whitish ears 4–6 cm long by 1½ to 2 cm wide, generally somewhat flattened.
