A private chapel and quinta at the Pilar site in São Martinho parish, Funchal, founded in 1676 by Gonçalo de Freitas Drumond.
On the road and in the locality (sítio) of Pilar (‘pillar’), in the parish (freguesia) of São Martinho (‘St Martin’), stand the quinta (country estate) and chapel of that name, founded in 1676 by Gonçalo de Freitas Drumond. Today they are the property of Dr Romano de Santa Clara Gomes (1921).
