Not far off the coast of the parish (freguesia) of Ribeira da Janela (‘window stream’) lie the islets of Ruama, Comprido and Ilhéuzinho, commonly called the Ilhéus da Ribeira da Janela (‘islets of the window stream’). One of these islets gave its name to the stream and to the parish, as stated in the previous article.
