One of the longest and fullest streams of Madeira, rising in the Paul da Serra, Rabaçal springs and Assobiadouro.
It rises on the Paul da Serra, at the Fontes do Rabaçal and at Assobiadouro, and is one of the longest and fullest streams on the island.
