A pleasant spot with a clear spring at Fanal in the uplands of Ribeira da Janela.
In the locality (sítio) of Fanal (‘beacon’), in the uplands of Ribeira da Janela (‘window stream’), there is a small spot known as Fonte dos Ingleses (‘Englishmen’s spring’), which is notable for its pleasantness and for a spring of crystal-clear water.
