A roadside spot with a drinking fountain built in 1847 on the road from Santo António to Curral das Freiras.
Beside the road linking the parish (freguesia) of Santo António (‘St Anthony’) with that of Curral das Freiras (‘nuns’ fold’), not far from the locality (sítio) of Eira do Cerrado (‘threshing floor of the enclosure’), there is a place of that name, with a drinking fountain built in 1847.
