Lists Madeira's twelve combined telegraph and post offices by class, plus semaphore stations at Ponta do Pargo, Ponta de São Lourenço and the Ilhéu.

There are twelve combined telegraph and post offices in Madeira: one of the first class, in Funchal; two of the second class, in Santa Cruz and Calheta; six of the third class, in Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol, Porto Moniz, São Vicente, Sant'Ana and Machico; and three of the fourth class, in Câmara de Lobos, Ponta Delgada and Porto da Cruz. At Ponta do Pargo (‘sea bream point’) there is a telegraph, post and semaphore station, at Ponta de São Lourenço a telegraph and semaphore station, and on the Ilhéu a semaphore post.
