Estanquinhos
Locality at the northern end of the Paul da Serra at about 1,500 m, with a shelter house and a well-known cold spring where the rare endemic Sedum farinosum grows.
A locality (sítio) at the northern end of the Paul da Serra (‘upland marsh’), about 1500 metres above sea level, where there is a mountain shelter. The Estanquinhos (‘little ponds’) spring is well known to everyone who crosses the Paul, because of the low temperature and excellent quality of its water. On the rocks beside this spring grows the rare Sedum farinosum, peculiar to Madeira.
