Chapel of São Cândido built in 1732 at Fonte da Rocha, Câmara de Lobos, by Canon Francisco Cândido Correia Henriques; ruined by 1921.
In the locality (sítio) then called Fonte da Rocha (‘rock spring’), in the parish (freguesia) of Câmara de Lobos (‘seals’ den’), Canon Francisco Cândido Correia Henriques built a chapel in 1732 dedicated to the martyr St Candidus, and provided it with a suitable endowment on 16 May of that year. It is in ruins (1921).
