Inhabited locality in Monte parish with an old castle-like manor and a chapel of the Magi built in 1554.

An inhabited locality (sítio) in the parish (freguesia) of Monte (‘hill’). Here, on a small hill, stands an old manor house recalling an ancient castle on a crag, with an adjoining chapel dedicated to the Holy Magi (Reis Magos) and built in 1554 by Duarte Mendes de Vasconcelos. This locality also has a chapel dedicated to the Menino Jesus (Child Jesus).
