Municipal Medical Post

The municipal medical post of Funchal, opened in 1889 by the town council, which acquired an X-ray apparatus in 1922.
It began operating on 10 April 1889 and was created by the Municipal Council (Câmara Municipal) under the presidency of the late Viscount of Ribeiro Real.
The X-ray apparatus at the medical post was acquired by the Council in 1922; there had been another there which became unusable.
