Chapel of Our Lady of Candlemas in the parish of Tábua, said to have been built by an early settler named Medeiros and once the centre of a pilgrimage.
A chapel with this dedication stands in the locality (sítio) of the same name in the parish (freguesia) of Tábua. Its original construction is attributed to one of the early settlers, surnamed Medeiros, and it was rebuilt in a year unknown to us. It was the centre of an old pilgrimage.
