An inhabited locality (sítio) in the parish (freguesia) of Canhas. Here stood the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Anunciação, or da Incarnação, rebuilt in 1696 by João Rodrigues da Câmara and his wife Dona Isabel César da Câmara, which for some time served as the parish church.
