Rua do Conselheiro is a street in Funchal named after governor José Silvestre Ribeiro and opened during his administration. It runs along the west side of the Jardim Municipal and is linked by Rua de Roberto Ivens. The Scottish church has its own building there, and the Clube União had premises on it.
