The Moradias de Zargo are the successive residences of João Gonçalves Zargo in Funchal: a wooden house by the Santa Catarina chapel, a stone house near São Paulo, and a final home near the Conceição de Cima (Santa Clara) church. The author identifies this last house with the present Quinta das Cruzes, and the entry traces its later owners and the two-handed sword attributed to Zargo.
