Álvaro Rodrigues de Azevedo

Dr Álvaro Rodrigues de Azevedo (1825–1898) was a lawyer and teacher of rhetoric and literature at the Funchal lyceum. He is best remembered for his annotated 1873 edition of the Madeira section of Gaspar Frutuoso's Saudades da Terra.
