An inhabited locality in Ponta Delgada parish, site of the Quinta da Palmeira, now the bishop's residence.
An inhabited locality (sítio) in the parish (freguesia) of Ponta Delgada (‘slender point’). In this locality stands the Quinta da Palmeira (‘palm-tree estate’), which is today the bishop’s residence. A chapel was recently built there, but we do not know its dedication.
