St Apollonia (chapel)

A small ruined chapel of Santa Apolónia that belonged to the former Franciscan convent in Calheta.
Near the former convent of St Francis in the parish (freguesia) of Calheta (‘small cove’), and belonging to it, there was a small chapel dedicated to Santa Apolónia (St Apollonia), which is today completely in ruins. It is the property of Pedro César de Brito (1921).
