The Ribeira Brava stream rises at the São Vicente ridge; its tributaries are listed.
It rises at the Cumeada de São Vicente (‘ridge of São Vicente’), and its tributaries are the brooks of Poço, Pico, Vicente Vaz and Eira da Moura.
