Lombo Grande
A long ridge running from Curral das Freiras parish up to the Serra das Torrinhas, crossed by a road to Boaventura with a branch towards Pico Ruivo.
A long ridge that stretches from the parish (freguesia) of Curral das Freiras (‘nuns’ fold’) to the summit of the Serra das Torrinhas (‘little towers’). It is crossed by a road leading to the parish of Boaventura. Before the road reaches the Torrinhas ridge it forks, one branch heading towards Pico Ruivo (‘russet peak’); this is the preferred route for climbing that height.
