Ponta da Agulha, at the southern tip of Bugio, is the southernmost point of the Madeira archipelago.

It is the southernmost point of the Madeira archipelago. It lies at the southern tip of Bugio, the southernmost of the three islands that make up the group of the Desertas (‘deserted islands’).
