Rua do Comércio, formerly Rua dos Ferreiros, is a street in Funchal where the present town hall stands. The Banco da Madeira was provisionally installed there in 1920, and a demolished Gothic house once stood on it. It connects with Rua do Sabão and Rua do Esmeraldo, and it was illuminated for the quincentenary of the discovery of Madeira.
