The second newspaper published in Funchal, a weekly issued from February 1823 to July 1824 and edited by Padre João Crisóstomo Espínola de Macedo.

This was the second newspaper to appear in this city. Its first issue came out on 17 February 1823 and its last, no. 61, on 2 July 1824. It was a weekly, edited by Father João Crisóstomo Espínola de Macedo. (See First Publications.)
