Approximate location
Rua da Bela Vista is a Funchal street where the main Anglican church stands; Napoleon's coins were reputedly buried there. The Associação de Socorros Mútuos 4 de Setembro de 1862 was founded in Camacho's house in this street, and the poet Pimenta de Aguiar lived opposite it. It bounded the site of the old Pico gate, turned into a torrent in the 1842 flood and was hit by a shell in the 1917 bombardment.
