The Capela de Cristo, now known as the chapel of Senhor dos Milagres, is in Machico and is among the oldest chapels in Madeira. Tradition places it on the site of the first Mass said by the discoverers. It is the seat of the Misericórdia of Machico and houses the image of Senhor dos Milagres, object of a large pilgrimage on 9 October.
