Titular bishop of Dume sent to Funchal in 1516 by the first Bishop of Funchal, D. Diogo Pinheiro, to act in his place. He confirmed, ordained, consecrated Funchal Cathedral on 18 October and blessed one of its bells. Some of the notes grouped under this name concern a different person, King Duarte of Portugal, who in 1433 granted the islands to Prince Henry and the Order of Christ.
