Inhabited locality in São Martinho parish, on the left bank of the Socorridos, with a chapel of Nossa Senhora da Vitória built in 1594 by Francisco de Betencourt.
An inhabited locality (sítio) in the parish (freguesia) of São Martinho (‘St Martin’), where there is a chantry (capela) with the dedication of Nossa Senhora da Vitória (Our Lady of Victory). It was built in 1594 by Francisco de Betencourt on the lands of the entailed estate (morgadio) that he had founded there. It lies on the left bank of the Socorridos.
