Camilo Torrend was a French Jesuit mycologist known for his studies of the fungi of Portugal and Madeira. He wrote three contributions on Madeiran fungi, published in the journal Broteria between 1909 and 1913.

A distinguished French mycologist, well known for his studies of the fungi of Portugal and Madeira. He is a member of the Society of Jesus and has taught in Lisbon, Belgium and Brazil. He wrote three contributions to the study of Madeiran fungi, published in volumes VIII, X and XI of Broteria (1909–1913).
