Farmers' syndicate founded in 1918 at Estreito de Câmara de Lobos to serve members' agricultural interests and buy supplies.
It was founded in 1918 in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos (‘the narrows of Câmara de Lobos’), and its statutes were published in the Diário do Governo (‘Government Gazette’) of 20 December of the same year. On 2 March 1919 it elected its governing bodies. Its purpose is to look after the agricultural interests of its members and to purchase fertilisers, seeds, machinery, insecticides, etc. (1921).
