Perestrelo (Bartolomeu)
Short entry on Bartolomeu Perestrelo, son of the first of that name, who became the second captain-donatary of Porto Santo and married a daughter of Tristão Vaz.
The second donatary of Porto Santo (‘holy harbour’) bore the same name as his father. He married Guiomar Teixeira, daughter of Tristão Vaz Teixeira, the first donatary of Machico.
