Hooker (William)
Botanist William Hooker, who compiled a list of Madeiran plants in his Niger-Flora and published Notes on Madeira Plants in 1847.
His work entitled Niger-Flora contains a list of Madeiran plants compiled by him, followed by another by Dr C. Lemann, also dealing with plants of this island. Volume VI (1847) of the Journal of Botany published an article by W. Hooker entitled Notes on Madeira Plants.
