The Fort of São José in the town of Porto Santo, built under Pombal's government with a residence for the governors, and in 1921 ceded to the fiscal guard.
Built under Pombal’s government inside the town (vila), with a house for the governors’ residence. It is at present (1921) ceded to the Revenue Guard (Guarda Fiscal, customs and excise corps).
