Caramujo (Trochus colubrinus)
An edible intertidal sea snail found on all the islands; salted or pickled, it is imported in quantity from the Selvagens.
A gastropod mollusc of the family Trochidae. It is edible and is found in the intertidal zone of all the islands. Salted or pickled, it is imported from the Savage Islands (Selvagens) in relatively large quantities.
