Madeiran knight who distinguished himself in the Portuguese campaigns in Morocco, notably the taking of Azamor, alongside the fourth captain-donatary of Funchal.

He was a valiant Madeiran knight who greatly distinguished himself in our campaigns in Morocco, above all at the taking of Azemmour, where he accompanied the fourth captain-donatary of Funchal, João Gonçalves da Câmara. (See Barros.)
