The Estádio dos Barreiros is a sports ground of about 18,000 square metres in the parish of São Martinho, Funchal, formally inaugurated in 1927.
In the parish (freguesia) of São Martinho (‘St Martin’), in the locality (sítio) of Ribeiro Seco de Cima (‘upper dry brook’), at the spot known as Barreiros (‘clay pits’), lies an excellent sports ground known as the Barreiros Stadium (Estádio dos Barreiros). It covers an area of approximately 18,000 square metres and was formally inaugurated in 1927.
