She was donatary of Funchal in 1666 and styled herself Marchioness and Countess of Castelo Melhor and of Vila Nova da Calheta, Lady of the towns (vilas) of Figueiró and Pedrógão Grande, and Governor of Justice and the Exchequer of the Island of Madeira and the city of Funchal. She married João Rodrigues de Vasconcelos, 2nd Count of Castelo Melhor.
