Quinta do Trapiche is an estate in the parish of Santo António, Funchal, with a country house and the chapel of São João e Santana. It served as the bishops' summer residence and was the planned site of an asylum, later becoming the site of a psychiatric hospital. António Nobre frequently visited a house near it.
