Joaquim de Meneses e Ataíde (1765–1828) was an Augustinian friar and titular archbishop who was vicar capitular and governor of the diocese of Funchal from 1811 to 1821. He is remembered for his political quarrels with the captain-general and his services to the Funchal Misericórdia, including building the Angústias cemetery. He later became bishop of Elvas.
