Grandee of the realm who was alcaide-mor of Funchal in the late eighteenth century and holder of former donatary rights, whose agent was freed from supplying salt in 1769. In 1836 he was assessed for the redízima owed from 1831 until the end of the alcaidaria-mor, and in 1873 he was recorded as owner of the Santa Catarina chapel and almshouse.
