Saramago

The saramago of Madeira is the Raphanus Raphanistrum, with jointed silicles and white or yellow flowers; that of Porto Santo is the Brassica Sinapistrum, a plant known in Madeira by the name of mustard. These two plants belong to the Cruciferous family and are common in both islands.
