Trigo de palha roxa

A wheat variety with violet or reddish ears 9–10 cm long, awnless or with short awns; also called trigo mouro.

Ears 9–10 cm long by 8–15 mm wide, slightly violet or reddish, awnless or with the upper glumes bearing short awns. It is also called trigo mouro.
