Sousa (Ernesto Venceslau de)
Funchal-born typographer and writer (1879–1913), author of the Poema antipuniceo and contributor to local papers under the pseudonym E. Tarolo.
He was born in Funchal on 28 September 1879. He wrote the Poema antipuniceo (Funchal, 1904) and worked as a typographer while contributing to A Cruz, A Esperança, A Voz do Operario and O Direito. He usually signed his work with the pseudonym E. Tarolo. He died in the Princess Maria Amélia Hospice (Hospício da Princesa Dona Maria Amélia) on 25 December 1913.
