Two Madeiran newspapers titled O Realista: a doubtful one possibly before 1834, and one of three issues in May 1915.
Dr Álvaro Rodrigues de Azevedo, in one of his notes to the ‘Longing for the Homeland’ (Saudades da Terra), alludes to the newspaper O Realista, whose existence is very doubtful and which may perhaps have been published before 1834.
A newspaper of the same title was published of which only 3 issues appeared, from 1 to 16 May 1915.
