The Infanta Maria Antónia, Duchess of Parma, stayed in Madeira in April–May 1922 to visit her daughter, the exiled Empress Zita.
The Infanta Dona Maria Antónia, daughter of Miguel I and widow of Prince Robert of Bourbon, Duke of Parma, stayed in Madeira from 7 April to 22 May 1922, having come to visit her daughter, the former Empress Zita. She was accompanied by her children, Princes Sixtus, Xavier and René and Princess Isabel; the first three left for Lisbon on 12 April 1922.
