Rev. P. Murray, English clergyman and botanist who collected plants in Madeira in 1894; his herbaria, including J. M. Moniz's, are at Kew and the British Museum.

An English clergyman who collected plants in Madeira in 1894 and also visited Portugal and the Canary Islands. He died on 29 October 1908. His herbaria, which included that of J. M. Moniz, are today held at Kew Gardens and the British Museum. Works: Notes on species of Lotus and Pedrosia. (Journ. of Botany, 1897).
