Língua de vaca (Sonchus fruticosus)
Língua de vaca or serralha da rocha, a tall shrubby sow-thistle found at Monte, Camacha and inland ravines.
A member of the daisy family (Compositae), 1 to 3 metres tall, common at Monte, Camacha and in the ravines of the interior. It has elongated leaves with broad, rounded lateral lobes, and large yellow umbellate flower heads which together form a panicle. It is also known as serralha da rocha.
